Armin Norouzi, PhD

I am an AI software engineer at Google, and I hold a PhD in engineering from the University of Alberta. My introduction to financial systems happened at Citco, a global fund services firm, which is where I first started applying data science to markets.

Over the years, I noticed that highly technical people often struggle to manage their own portfolios. The problem is rarely a lack of intelligence. It is the absence of a defined framework. To solve this for myself, I started treating personal finance like software. Outline the constraints, model the variables, and lean on hard data instead of hope.

This site is a collection of that work. It consists of data-backed deep dives into markets and financial independence. Because a claim you cannot verify is not worth making, every piece here is built on public sources and checked against primary documents.
